Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest name in the world Cricket history. His full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He was born in 24 April 1973 in Mumbai.His father name is Ramesh Tendulkar. He was a Marathi novelist. His mother name is Rajni who worked in a insurance company. He has two brothers (Ajit and Nitin) and one sister (Savita). His wife name is Anjali. He has a daughter named Sara and a son named Arjun .

In the early age, Sachin Tendulkar was encouraged to play cricket by his elder brother Ajit Tendulkar. He is only the player who has made total ninety-nine century in one day international cricket and test cricket. He is the only male batsman who made a double century in one day international cricket. Tendulkar is the first batsman in the world cricket history who did fifty-one century in test cricket and forty-eight centuries in ODI cricket. Tendulkar was ranked second greatest batsman in the test cricket after Donald Bradman by Wisden in 2002 for his twelve years career and also ranked   second greatest batsman in ODI cricket after Viv Richards. He is the first batsman to make twelve thousand runs, also thirteen thousand and fourteen thousand runs in test cricket. Tendulkar is the first Indian batsman and third international batsman who scored eleven thousand runs in test cricket. He was also the first batsman to pass ten thousand runs in ODI cricket. Tendulkar has scored thirty thousand runs in 20 November 2009. He also holds a record of playing highest ODI and test cricket matches.

India’s highest sporting honor, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and India’s second highest civilian award, Padma vibhuushan are given with respect to Sachin Tendulkar. He is the first sportsman and the first person who is awarded with the honorary rank of Group Captain without taking any aviation training by the Indian Air Force. He holds honorary doctorates from Mysore University and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He got the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for cricketer of the year at the ICC awards in 2010.
